GoSwift Selected Amongst World’s Best 40 E-Solutions

An international jury from the World Summit Award (WSA) selected GoSwift’s online queue management solution as one of 40 finalists for the World’s best e-services. The final list of the 40 best e-solutions will be published on the World Summit Award website www.wsis-award.org.
The WSA jury consisting of 20 UN senior specialists selected the finalists out of 461 nominees from around the World. A national contest was held in Estonia, where out of 77 projects, 7 finalists were chosen to represent Estonia.
GoSwift’s Queue Management Service for motor vehicles allows drivers to book a time to cross the border, thereby creating a more efficient system as drivers do not have to wait in long physical queues. The service has been implemented on the borders of Estonia, Lithuania and Russia.
The Estonian Minister of the Interior, Mr. Ken-Marti Vaher, said, „It takes both a bold and demanding client as well as a result-oriented developer to create such a good e-solution. It is a great honour to see the high standard of e-solutions being created by Estonia and for one of our projects to receive the recognition from international experts within the UN and the World Summit Award”.
The CEO of GoSwift, Mr. Hannes Plinte, added: „The quick implementation of the GoSwift queue management service was due to the close cooperation by the public and private sector. Without excellent legislation base and trust from the Estonian Ministry of Interior, this project would not have been as successful as it is“.
The GoSwift solution has been so successful, that the service can be applied to many different environments, wherever there is a queue. The system has recently been launched at the Tallinn TV Tower : http://pilet.teletorn.ee , where customers can book a time to enter the tower online instead of having to queue outside.
